Stu Fuchs! UKULELE BANDSTAND workshop, plus CONCERT, 9/29/19!!

Stuart Fuchs is back at  Anacortes Senior Activity Center September 29 with a 2:00 workshop, followed by a 3:30 concert.  Always entertaining, his concerts prove to be a mix of classical, humor, seriously difficult and intricate musicianship, and pure slapstick!

The UKULELE BANDSTAND workshop offers something for all abilities from beginners to advanced.  Stu’s description:

“The theme of the workshop is “Ukulele Band Arrangements”.  You’ll learn & play accessible  multi-part ukulele band arrangements to create a “pop-up ensemble”.  As you learn these arrangements, Stu will share many great playing & practice tips to make your music journey easier & more deeply satisfying.

All Day Ukulele Zen Immersion Class in Seattle! Music, Mindfulness & Creative Play

Join Stu Fuchs for a fun and soul-nourishing day of music making with Seattle’s Ukulele Community!  Presented by S.T.R.U.M.

Stu Fuchs (aka “Stukulele”) is Grammy-nominated, internationally touring teaching artist with over 25 years of experience performing & teaching classical & jazz guitar, ukulele, didjeridoo and offering musical empowerment workshops in music schools, hospitals & for Fortune 500 executives.

Stu will be presenting this unique day-long ukulele immersion class – open to beginners and up.  A DELICIOUS VEGETARIAN LUNCH IS INCLUDED!

Some basic experience on your Uke is recommended.

“Ukulele Zen” is a holistic music system that uses draws upon simple and accessible practices from the wisdom traditions of yoga, mindfulness meditation & qigong – applying them to music making process in a deep yet lighthearted way..

No experience in yoga or meditation is required to join in with this class and experience the profound benefits of these practices. We won’t be folding ourselves into a pretzel!  Chair seats will be provided for your comfort.
