Beginner ukuleleists can join instructor Linda Zielinski for “Newkulele” at ASAC Thursday, Nov 7th, 2:45, for the first of 18 ukulele classes, running through March 19. The free class (donations to ASAC encouraged) covers uke basics: strum patterns and simple picking, chords, plenty of songs; playing and singing with a group; home practice strategies, introduction to further studies such as 12 bar blues, playing tabs, and chords “up the neck”, other instruction sources.  Ukulele, tuner, music stand, pencil and binder required, plus access to computer & printer to download & print weekly lessons.
